What is a separately managed account (SMA)?
A separately managed account (SMA) is a professionally constructed and managed
portfolio of Australian shares and cash.
portfolio of Australian shares and cash.
How is an SMA different to a managed fund?
A managed fund is sold in units while an SMA is not. Due to this ownership structure an SMA can be more cost effective, tax efficient, transparent and flexible than a managed fund.
Why is our SMA different?
Our SMA is fully integrated into our platform. This means you can manage your client’s SMA
investment on the platform in the same way you use managed funds and shares. The SMA is available
via our superannuation, pension and investment plans.
